Church School Status

  /  Church School Status

I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

St John, Chapter 10 verse 10

The distinctiveness and effectiveness of Cannington as a Church of England school are good.

Children have a good understanding of the school’s Christian values. They understand the importance of these in their own lives and confidently articulate the difference they make to their learning.

Collective worship makes a valuable contribution to the children’s growing spiritual development and understanding of prayer.

The outstanding Christian vision of the Headteacher, assisted by the senior leadership team and governors, gives the school a clear identity as a church school
